Help wanted.
We run pre-maturebaby.com entirely out of our own pockets and this includes the FreePhone number. Whilst we like to call parents back and work on the site, We are looking for companies or individuals who would like to help us.
We feel that what we have been through is of benefit to others, and with "premi" babies coming into the media more often, our website has become more popular.
Since the website was launched over 12,000 hits have been recorded at we were a bit shocked at the amount of visits received not only locally but from around the world. We know this be the location of emails and feed back.
Since the birth of Sophie and Edwards baby girl the site has seen visitors increase from a pre-news release of 11,200 to as of 12th November 2003 a total of 12,455. Whilst we do know that the site is receiving hits actual back comments can be low. This has been put down to the panic. When Lisa was in hospital with Kirsty the only site I could find was of an American lad born at a similar birth weight. The memory of taking the information into hospital is still clear in my head, but it was quite some months until I went back to the Dad and thanked for the information.
Our aims are.
To increase awareness of special care units to parents and relatives under similar circumstances.
To help them with the emotional aspect and the care required.
To build the site by adding other parents stories as well.
Raise awareness with regards to areas of baby disability and the lack of help with the blue badge system.
We are also looking to help other parents locally on a one to one basis.
Would you or your company be prepared to help sponsor us?
If you do so wish then please contact us
Sincerely John Stanton Webmaster (and Kirsty's Dad pre-maturebaby.com)
