At 13 months old Kirsty still looks like a small baby. And of course the problem with Oxygen. You can see the regulator at the top of the cot.

One problem we had at this stage was the moving around and of course the pipe getting wrapped around her!

The dummy is the smallest we could get, but still looks big on Kirsty.

One thing we were worried about in the ward was Kirsty's heels as they did look deformed, but not now feet as normal, including the "sweaty" smell!!

At one year nine months, Kirsty is doing well, but everywhere we go we have the problem of the Oxygen.

We have to stick tape that is like skin to Kirsty's face, and then put the pipes to this and then more tape to the pipes!

As Kirsty got older this was more and more of a task because she hated having them on, and would rip them off.

"WHAT'S UP WITH THIS BABIES LUNG'S?"

Was the cry of one doctor when Kirsty went into hospital with a high temp!
