To Grand Parents relatives and friends.

Premature babies senses (hearing and site) develop just as a term baby. They need input.

Touch from the parents and voices of close relatives and friends.

Some people do not like to see little babies with all the tubes and wires attached and do not want to visit the special care baby wards.

This is fully understandable. But remember that that little baby is missing out too on important contact. They soon grow, and if they do not have any major setbacks you will not know that they were so small and look back at the whole affair as a nightmare. Maybe so but with the modern technology survival rates are very high.

Even if a premature baby has major problems they still need love and care from their family.

The only consolation is they will not remember what they go through.

So if you are a relative or a friend the parents and that little baby need all the support that they can get.

We normally only visit once a day ourselves as parents but we have to think of our other daughter and also our own lives.

It is strange the time seems to go slow but fast. But with support from family and friends this can be a great help.

Please. please get to see your little miracle, they wont be little for long.

Regards John Stanton.
